cold temperatures pull us into ourselves
closed hoods and hands down in pockets
closed shoulders and eyes down on our own feet
we climb inside ourselves
even when thawing in front of fireplaces
this is not good or bad
correction, this is good and bad
though
i am glad we when we go above zero
and i climb out of myself
