meets her through friends of friends
knows she's attractive
but for weeks
denies his body's thoughts

he opposites the immature ones
gentle
patient
drawn not by his body
but to it
through his aura and mind
advances are slow
imperceptible
but after two seasons
winter and spring
fall together
